South yorkshires swirliest focus-full correction panther black

Was going to be doing this today with the owner a fellow tyke and member on here deano-uk,but he had to pull out
but he had washed and clayed the car day before so for that
as you can see the focus was swirl city, and with deano being out of action ,he asked me to have a go on this
car arrived nice and early you can see the swirls when the suns on them
tried a few combos to start with ,some gloss it one step which did work, but didnt remove as much as we wanted, then went to old faithfull
hex logic polishing pad with menzerna
actually corrected most of car with final finish and 3 blobs of power finish
this knocked most of the marks out,not many scratches in paint, but lots of swirling
refined to lsp stage with some dodo lime prime on a red lc finishing pad
at this stage i was happy that id removed nearly all the little bu**ers
then snowfaomed and rinsed down
dried with towels and a bauman blower to shift all water from mirrors door trims etc
then applied a layer of chemical guys wet mirror finish, and toppped off with a coat of supernatural
went round and dressed plastics with 3d trimcare, wiped glass with astonish anti fog
wheels were polished and sealed with autobrite very berry and tyres dressed with migliore bella lustra
did a final wipedown with zanio z8
so on with the pics as alway help, advice etc etc appreciated

A FEW PICS OF THE SWIRLS TO START WITH

A DIRTY WHEEL

THE TRUSTY MAKITA

A GOOD SIDE BY SIDE,CORRECTED/AND NOT

AFTER CORRECTION THE DODO EFFECT

A CLAEN SHINING SIDE SHOT

A CLEAN WHEEL

NOW WE LOOKING A LOT BETTER

FINAL REFLECTION SHOTS

AND FINALLY A PICTURE OF A FAT LAD WITH METTELFLAKE POPPING ACTION

lamps allow you to see better in the shaded side
i use a brinkmann for close up,but to be fair when sun like it was today generally use that
thanks for comments

on soft jap paints you can sometimes just get away with using lime prime
i love it leaves a nice oily finish for dodo waxes

I cant thank Steve enough for the work he has put into this car today, I honestly don't know where he gets his energy and enthusiasm from. TOP GUY you couldn't wish to meet a more helpful detailing world member!

The car was a mess and he has managed an amazing turn around on it, the wife is under strict instructions to keep it this way now and avoid the local Polish car wash at all costs....
