While 4K's a lot of poppy, it's quite comparable to doing the same to a Mini (that's all I can base it on), and getting a very similar percentage of power increase too.
Good on you for saving and upgrading the car to such a high standard, that's what I say.... anyone can see you've gone all-out to get it and keep it so nice. I do love a bit of spending to constantly upgrade (just don't tell the wife )![]() |

The air filter goes straight into the SuperCharger, which then goes into the intercooler, so there's not really room to put it anywhere else. It is quite a tight engine bay. Does sound like it's charged then. The main noise you will hear is a kind of sucking noise (despite it actually blowing). You obviously get the whine from the charger as well, but the bov is the most obvious noise. I'll have a look on the forum see if i can see who it might be. |

Rotrex's don't whine like a roots type charger though, its all induction noise.
Great project! |

Just a thought - to help with the filter being down so low and directly on the charger, why don't you get some samco flexi hose and mount if behind the grill? It'll get a direct cold air feed and won't suffer with being next to the road.
