Gtechniq Gtechniq was founded by quantum physicist Drew Gill in 2001, out of a total dissatisfaction with the performance of paint protection products at the time. Everything from waxes, to new-fangled polymers and PTFE based miracle treatments, nothing on the market offered any meaningful durability, either in looks, or protection. Worse still, he found that most of the products actually performed poorer than the paints they were supposed to protect. From this discontent came a simple idea, ‘To engineer the world’s most beautiful, perfectly finished, smartest and most intelligent surfaces. Surfaces that do much more than simply look great when new.’

Gtechniq M1 Metal Polish

After struggling with autosol metal polish and I don't like to use wire wool. I thought I'd try a new product ... Gtechniq M1 all metal polish.

I was a little sceptical as autosol has a prolific reputation, been around for years ... how can a new product on the market match that? ... Well it does and some!

I applied a really small amount of M1 to an MF and after 2 minutes of very gentle polishing, I wiped the remaining residue from my exhaust tip ... took a step back and couldn't believe the results. A clean exhaust for the first time in years!

I wish I'd taken a before shot too ... There was burnt on tar, staining, usual grim and crap that I could never remove previously.

Another amazing 5* product from Gtechniq.

Getting the C2v2 in place of the 500ml ready made C2v2, but found a place that sells purified water at a good price for 5 litres.
