(I had some personal issues last year which meant I wasn't able to attend Waxstock, all sorted now! )
I bought the car on the 18th February 2007, just over 6 years ago, having covered 42,000 miles almost completely standard, now on 69,500. The paint was very dull and needed some attention and the engine bay had never been detailed.
Its a 2001 MG ZR 105. 12 years old!
It gets a regular treatment before every show of:
Clay -twice a year
Cleaner fluid - if needed
Engine bay gets a good clean
Wheels and tyres cleaned and protected
Interior gets a good clean
The arches get a good clean and protecton twice a year
Last year I put the car on a ramp and protected the underside from rust also.
I have recently also gone over the whole car with my machine polisher leaving a smooth glass like finish free from swirls and fine stratches.
I have won 5 trophies with the car and it has featured in 4 magazines.
The engine bay not long after I bought it, took a while to get it to the standard its at now!
And how clean it is now
At a show
Waiting to be driven over to the show area
Close attention cleaning the wheels
Thanks for looking
