These be ok for P1/P2?

Looking to get this kit minus the Megs compounds and get Gtechniq P1 + P2, or are the megs compounds as good?

Edit (forgot to add link: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish...prod_1212.html)

The two megs compounds the 105 and 205 are highly regarded.

If i was just starting out i would have that kit.

I way prefer 205 compared to P2. I find that P2 has a kind of 'sticky' feel to it.

Haven't used 105 yet, so can't compare that.

There's a DaveKG test of these products on here somewhere, which is very good and well worth a look.

I am sure the Gtech polishes would do a good job. Not used P2 but have used P1 and the Megs stuff. If I had the choice I would use the Meguiars as the need to spritz the paint with water can be a little frustrating however if you really fancy the Gtech then buy them. I thought P1 was great with wool and works very well by hand plus it is very easy to clean up afterwards which is a good thing as I always seem to get a lot of splatter with P1, although this could be something I am doing wrong.
