It's a close one between Audi and BMW for me. Audi's interiors are more classy then the Bmw's IMO, but I'd really like the new 3 Series + they are rear wheel drive. Never thought much of Mercedes tbh

So my vote goes to BMW

that is a high percentage of dodgy cars..
The whole vag group cars is suffering from many malfunctions of all sorts, and most of DSG transmission and engines having refurbishment needed at low mileage, which is the sort of things you just dont see anymore at other car manufacturers.

Audi for me, imo the best quality cars out if them

My audi a4 even for an old model is still excellent quality, comfort etc etc. Bmw are nice, but I'm only a fan of the e46 age or earlier, the new ones really don't do it for me

Mercades are not great quality from the experiences I've had. My dad bought an S6 in about 2012 new, he looked at equivalent mercades at the time and the quality was rubbish. Felt plastic and tacky, didn't even finish a test drive in one of them he was that unimpressed

My mates got an e500 amg, very comfy and lovely engine but it doesn't ooze quality, plus it's had a lot of suspension and electrical issues. Don't know what it is just doesn't do enough for what should be amazing

It's all put me off mercades tbh, plus not huge fan on the styling. The new Audi's look very smart imo but the bmw and mercades have both gone down the route of odd enormous rear ends with hideous lights which looks pants imo

BMW for me. Some say the interiors look boring, but ergonomically they're the best for me. Driving positions, location of controls it's spot on.

Also, I love the RWD feel of the chassis, even my wife's 116i M-Sport is great to drive.

That's exactly what I found on my test drive of the M3, felt really responsive and engaging, more engaging than the Quattro I have.
