Who uses the Optimum System (not ONR)
I find the Optimum system intriguing, but before I splash out one something that I really don't need

What you wanna know ?
![]() EDIT: In my few years with OPT I can without a doubt recommend a few products. ONR - I know you are not interested in it but here me out. Its a multicleaning product and is great for the inside plastics and dash cleaning, glass cleaning. It can be used as a cheap clay lube and a cheap QD that wont affect the LSP. Car wash - great sudsy car shampoo. Its very well lubricated and the level of cleaning is good. Its PH neutral and doesnt affect LSP. Opti seal - not the greatest LSP out there or the longest lasting but its the best drying aid Ive used & it can be used on all surfaces (even on the inside). Power clean - its a bit expensive but its a great & very strong degreaser. Depending on the dillution ratios it can be used as a bug remover, TFR, degreaser, inside cleaner, ... Hyper polish - brilliant polish, great finish, long working time, no dust...can be used as a finishing polish or a one-step-polish depending on what pad you combine it with. Simply brilliant. Gloss coat - it is as easy to use as in the video. Apply, wait till about 80% flashes away and wipe. Its gives great beads and on a well maintained car should last >1year These are my have-to OPT products. Ive also heard great things about the glass coating & Ferrex but had not had the privilage of trying it out. Last edited by A&J; 12-12-2017 at 01:52 PM. |

Who uses the Optimum System (not ONR)
Sorry, I was referring to the compound and polish systems only!
I have ONR, it's not that I'm not interested. Thanks for your detailed reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I have not used the hyper compound yet...instead Ive opted with Intensive polish which is the ex-hyper compound before it was reformulated. Its a 1-step product for medium deep swirls and scratches up to 2000 grid. It can cut fairly well and finish with little to no hazing.
Hyper compound was then re-designed to remove heavier paint damage but it wont finish like a polish (its meant to cut so It will do that) so youll need to refine it with hyper polish which is as Ive listed before a great all around polish. |

I have most Optimum products and they are all very good and work well together, especially ONR, Opti-Seal, Opti-Clean, Power Clean, Opti-Glass, Tire Shine, Spray Wax.

No, gave up and the moment passed. I’ll revisit it again one day.
