Numatic George gve370-2 cleaning solution..

Hi all, going to give my new wet dry vac a go today (taking the fronts seats out of my fiesta st to deep clean them). Ive come from a vax 6131 which id usually extract with just plain water after using an apc solution on whatever i was cleaning, is this the case with the George or do i need to feed a cleaning solution through the machine?

It doesn't matter which way around TBH Kev, you could put just water in the George and spray the dilute directly onto the seats or put the cleaner into the water tank.

If the seats are bad you could do both.

Depends really in my opinion how bad and smelly the area your treating is.

I usually apply the product via a sprayer to the effected area and attack it with a brush and usually fill my George with hot water and use that to wet the area and draw the product out along with the dirt.

If the soiling is particularly heavy I will also put some in the water to make it more effective and perhaps go over it once or twice with this before finishing with just hot water to make sure there is no product or dirt left behind. Also helps that the hot water will clean out the jet and makes it easier to dry.

I must admit though I only really use the hand tool and that includes in the house when I have done rugs and sofas/ carpets etc.

Exactly as I use mine.

They are great machines for the money.
