Need adivce ongeneral use of a DA and candy white vw!

Ive just got myself some kit-

-Challenge xtreme DA
-Hex logic orange,blue and whitepads
- Koch Chemie heavy cut, and micro cut

Ive had a little go on my vw scirocco in candy white but im finding it very difficult to see where im going and if the compound/polish is breaking down. So my first question is-

- how to see better when going along ?

And question number 2, if anyone has polished a white vw, with the products i have which pad and polish combo would you go for? I only have moderate swirls that need taken care of.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Can’t help with the VW paint I’m afraid but when I used to struggle polishing/waxing my silver Volvo in bright light the answer was simply dark tinted safety glasses. Managed to get a set with swappable lenses so have clear, dark and amber for all occasions.
