It's no so much a case of having an opinion, it's more to do with manners. When someone says they've just received a new car, certain opinions can and should be kept to oneself. I certainly wouldn't dream of pointing out flaws with your car, I'm here to talk about the quality of detailing efforts+products

As far as the hard plastics debate goes, have you been in a new, higher-model Golf, Arteon, Passat (mk7 golf-onwards)? I had a Golf prior to this, and other than the centre console and glove box, I'm struggling to remember any hard plastics. In fact, I regularly drive Jaguar XE's, C Classes, and various Volvo's at work, and the one thing I always take away from it, is there are more soft materials in the Golf I previously had!

As for this car, it's leather all round, minimum hard plastics...if you've driven a A4, many parts of the interior are similar (digital dash etc).

This isn't a moan, per say....I enjoy a debate as much as the next guy

Thanks,
Tom

Anyway, as we were!
This is not a proper post, but just adding as the weather today has been so crappy, and the lighting didn't allow for any decent photos.

I got hold of my new products and thought I'd give them a quick go. I only managed to get a layer of VC yellow on before the heaven's opened, but I did manage to get some white diamond down prior.

Next week, if the weather's okay, I'll really spend some time on the VC's, and also try out some of my new wheel products. I'll maybe even find somewhere decent to take some photos (hopefully the sun can help me out!)

Thanks,
Tom

I am not offended, don't worry

I like the E-Class...it's a beautiful car. What disappoints me is the build quality of other cars claiming to be more prestige than VW.....the XE is a good example (and my partner works for JRL, so I am allowed to be critical of them lol).
