We're in for a few dirty days!

Hope everyone is ready for a few days of slush/salt/mud/grime and dirt being sprayed all over our cars if we dare to venture out of the driveway!

I've done over 350 miles this week so my car looks a wreck anyway, looking forward to a good cleaning session once the weather gets better

I keep filling up the watering can and pouring it all over the car to keep the salt down until i can wash it on Thursday.

Just remember if it didn’t get dirty, where would the fun in cleaning it be?

I managed to do a couple of days on mine the week before last, two stage polish and good coat of 845, before it all kicked off meteorologically, so I know that after a decent wash (wednesdays looking good) it’ll be back to blinding again. If I got it perfect and then left it in a garage I wouldn’t have to do it all over again so what’s the point?

Oh I totally agree and I'm glad I have some synth-seal and double-speed on the car to keep the salt at bay and make things easier when I do get to wash it. Like others I'll be taking the hose to the car each night this week after work to rinse the worst of the slush off.

I do love cleaning a really dirty car. I get really satisfaction in seeing the transformation, personally I can't wait to get out this weekend.

My car stayed on its drive all of last weeks heavy snowfall, yesterday we had showers and the snow has been washed away along with the salt, washed my car earlier so all good now, looking forward to giving my M2 its full summer prep and machine polish.

I was hoping to have a mass cleaning session. 2 cars and the bike but decided to go in work until 1 am and then was up at 7. Before that I did a night shift so only slept 4 hours.
Hoping all being good to just carry on chilling today and do it all tomorrow
