Looking to move to Autosmart & what is Cobalt?
Hi chaps, I'm looking into purchasing some Autosmart products. Having been an Autoglym user for many years I'm curious to try Autosmart. My list currently contains Tardis, Smart Wheels, Tango (quick detailer?), Cobalt and Finish.

I've read all about Cobalt and was wondering if someone could shed some more light on where this sits in a basic routine. Could this effectively replace a traditional LSP if applied every month lets say? I'm finding the word 'polish' a little confusing.

Any help would be appreciated and general advice about Autosmart would also be very helpful!

Thanks :-)

Yes you could use Cobalt as the LSP. Ignore the word 'polish' Autosmart just seem to put all these kinds of products in the polish category for simplicity. Think more of a spray sealant but with an emphasis on gloss and looks. You can use it on a wet or dry vehicle and you can even use it as a quick detailer. It works by bonding itself to the paint through an ionic bond leaving a nano film behind it works really well on the glass too as a water repellant.

Thanks Doc! Ok, I will add it to my list. I've got an old sample of Tango lying around and just tried it on the car now as a quick detailer diluted 1:10 - wow! I forgot how good it was. Will try and upload a pic...

Tango is great as a QD. I've tried Cobolt on my car today and the results are impressive water sheets off extremely well. I'd suggest you try out g101, duet, ultra mouse and smart wheels[emoji1303][emoji1303]

Not the best picture as it was really sunny but the finish is impressive from Cobalt

If I was looking for an all-round interior cleaner (similar to Autoglym's Interior Shampoo), what Autosmart product would I be wanting to use? AS Upholstery and Interior Cleaner?

I really like the finish AG Interior Shampoo gives and I believe it has optical brighteners etc in it which aids the nice factory finish. Hopefully Autosmart do a similar product?

if you want an interior cleaner with brightener go for brisk ultra

Think it would be the brisk which does have optical brightners
