Surprised that you only get a couple of weeks. I have seen three months from Polar Seal on my daily driver. That is after a couple of washes with a "pure" shampoo and no "Trigger's broom" top ups...

Depends on the wax and the size of car. An oily wax will need a few mfs. Likewise a larger car needs a couple. The mfs get clogged with excess wax and then dont buff as well.
