Just stick a ceramic coating on them instead of clear coating them. But if you do want to clear coat them, I'm sure the surface needs to be keyed slightly, as in not highly polished after wet sanding

I haven't used forte but if it's a decent coating you'll find after your pre wash and contact wash they'll be nothing left on the glass to remove

I highly doubt it. Best to use an abrasive pre wax cleanser such as dodo juice lime prime or bilt hamber cleanser polish followed by a panel wipe

Beadmaker worked really well on top of feynlab...

Beadmaker worked really well on top of feynlab lite for me. Increased gloss but did effect the water behaviour so slightly, but still far from shabby

They will of course offer 'more' protection. But they'll still scratch. The best way to protect is to have them wrapped in PPF IMO
