It would have been quite common with 'older' compounds that were prone to Dusting, today's polishes have advanced a long way. If your having trouble with dusting, I'd re look at your working methods....

I would say ONR at QD strength was an ideal...

I would say ONR at QD strength was an ideal solution. Adding loads of lubricity and it flashes away so no need to continue to buff any areas like some QDs
