I prefer to remove it. If you "roll" it rather than pick it off, it comes off pretty easily followed by a tar/glue remover.

i run Goodyear Eagle F1 3's on my e46 Rears, hard Tyre so will take a little to warm up, but once warm the grip is unbelievable, would definitely get them again.

Update: Used it again today on another vehicle...

Update: Used it again today on another vehicle and it worked perfectly fine with no residue. Must have been the heat/humidity that was causing the oily residue

I personally wouldnt, the cloths are 40x40 and not very deep pile, they are more of a multi-purpose cloth for cleaning and buffing. Get a dedicated drying towel for drying, i use the 'Liquid Elements...
