My first thought, given everything you've done, is that you probably actually need a more aggressive polish to finish with because it's BMW paint. Scholl S17 or S20 black on that green hex logic pad...

I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you wanted something new to try, I love the finish it gives and, when applied wet, is super easy. I've personally not had any issues with a dry application...

I think, from memory, this did okay up to about 4 months which, given a wet application and a single coat, isn't bad in my book, given the ease of application...
