Don't believe the hype.

Possibly more scratch and swirl resistant but by no means scratch or swirl proof.
Also take "healing" with a pinch of salt.

But it's not as abrasive as a proper polish so will take longer and won't achieve as good results.
You'd be better off trying other polishes you have....

No buffing unless you apply too much and get high spots.
I routinely use it on my rims every few weeks.
