Depends on what tyres you get the alloys wrapped in from the factory.
If they are Pirellis, they tend to be a bit skinny on width, and don't have much rim protection in them.

Comes in a spray can, lasts for a while tbh.
Protects underside of car nicely and is easy to apply

Annoyingly I end up playing off two companies against each other.

For me its usually Admiral and Aviva.

I'm insured with Admiral at the moment, and I pay about £580 to insure all three cars....

I'd get some old rags and spray some degreaser/ brake cleaner and wipe dry.

Maybe even use a steam cleaner and some rags to remove dirt.
