It turns out the panels are stamped 1994! It's shocking that someone would paint them yellow - this wasnt an option on the first year...

I'd say at that mileage you can decide yourself how much it costs in terms of servicing. The intervals as per the computer are quite long so you 'can' leave it a while between services if you wish....
