I basically did as you did. Rust spotting sanded...

I basically did as you did. Rust spotting sanded to bare metal and keyed the other areas with scotchbrite. Parts not on the car yet but hoping it will hold up well.

Love that.......you forget about cup holders asa consideration in most new cars....but several of my Smart Fortwo's didn't have them and they are ESSENTIAL......love this solution!

So it has been a while since i updated this thread. I have mostly been enjoying the car using it daily , plus on top of that there is very little time for mods with work, research at university etc...

And engine is in (without head as i was waiting to come from overhaul)
