Buffing off was unsuccessful IMO. Happens with tough waxes usually like Collinite. They are more fussy and difficult to do correctly. Not your fault, it is very hard to see on the day

No better than white spirit at removing tar in my experience.

Perhaps it works well on light tar but was really hard work with bad tar.

Why bother with a cheap starter machine. You can use any machine you want, just follow the instructions properly and don't bother trying anything fancy like getting deep scratches out
