Question Best coating maintenance product: Final Finish or SiFinish?

Hi everyone,

This spring I'm getting my car coated with Nanolex Si3D by my usual detailer.

I would like to keep the coating topped up after every 3-4 washes or so to make sure I get the maximum protection and durability. So I wanted to get some advice which would be more suitable as a regular maintenance product after washing the car: Final Finish or SiFinish?

From the Nanolex webpage I cannot see a real difference in terms of usage for either of these products. Both seem to be good for adding that extra layer of protection after regular washes.

Any feedback or experiences with either one of those products?

Personally I would use final finish whilst drying the car (if your towel drying) just to add some lubrication. Then once a month give it a very light top up with SiFinish after drying. That maintenance will keep it going a long time

Hi xSullx

The main difference between SiFinish and Final Finish is that Final Finish is a quick detailer with good cleaning properties and SiFinish is more of a spray sealant.

We advise to use Final Finish as a drying aid with your drying towel every time when drying the car. You can also use Final Finish for removing fresh water spots, fingerprints and such. And yes, it does leave a bit of protection on the surfaces. But SiFinish on the other hand, we suggest to be used on a clean and dry surface as it might dilute too much when used on a wet surface. It does not have any cleaning properties, but does add a lot of protection. So there is a use for both of them, but for pure added protection SiFinish wins over Final Finish hands down every time.
