That'd be a long winter.

I'm guessing it'll be a really mild winter with minimal snow this year.

Don't they predict that every year?

Looks good - at least you know them as they can be an absolute disaster of a car electrically and mechanically - from close experience of a friend who had two

With this version is was mainly cosmetic changes, although the engine has had a few tweaks to make a little more power...

I'll give it a clean, sort some issues (like the bonnet/boot strut failures and the heating) then just run it...

fleet is the 4 cars and 6 bikes...
Love than excuse snowman bollard I should have used that one when I hit a low bollard in Glasgow Costco a good few years ago

So not much changed, so you got mini, Up? Audi??, bikes Fazer, Goldwing, ninja, new Harley, new Honda???

I had the V8 one of those about 8 years ago. It was a car with heaps of character and was properly capable and practical, but build quality was pretty hopeless and there was always something wrong with it.

It was however much better than the P38 Range Rover I bought some years after but that’s another story.

Your Grand Cherokee (WJ I think?) looks really smart and I hope it gives you many seasons of service.

Got the Jeep home at the weekend....

250 miles home, mixture of motorway and country roads.... drove with zero issues, engine, gearbox, brakes and axles all work as they should...

TBH this is my 5th Jeep and I've never had any issues with that side... and not so much as a squeak or rattle from the interior either...

Not too much done so far...
new wipers on,
fuses changed for the power sockets,
cabin filter installed (they are an optional extra for some reason)
rubber mats put in
and the leather seats given a quick wipe down.

Hopefully this week will be fixing the heating issue and getting the new Yoko tyres on it...I'll also probably stick a new battery in it.... OCD is starting to creep in

not much done this week after all...

New tyres are on.
the 6 gas struts replaced.
Headlights wet sanded to remove UV damage.
New bulbs in.
Central locking and key fob fixed.

it's spent a bit of time in the garage as I've discovered a drain coming form the audio system.... so I've pulled the fuse for now...

no pictures as I've been working in the dark and cold so far... but this weekend I'll hopefully get some up..

I've got the heater to sort.
check some wires for the Radio.
and I've got a special power kit coming for it, for a bit more torques to pull down houses a bit easier...
