You can usually get these Meguiars buckets from Euro car parts in their weekend sales for £8-£9. Thats what I went with, they're very good quality

As people have stated. Plenty places to get decent sized buckets.

B&Q
ScrewFix
etc,

The thing to watch for is if you wish to use systems such as Grit Guard + Washboard

OR scratch shield lids etc. Then you have to buy their specific buckets.

In this video, we were using Scratchshields and their buckets.

Hope this helps

I'm using gritguards and washboards in B&Q plaster buckets with no issues, am I missing something?

Nope looks perfect. Poorly explained by me.

The Grit guard Washboard only fits the Gritguard Insert. It does not fit to the "copies" or to the Scratch-shield insert. The centre hole is a different size.

Also their Lids only fit on their own buckets. So the scratchsield lid on their bucket. The Gritguard Grip seal water tight lid only fits on their buckets ( I am lead to believe)

Hope this helps.

p.s EPIC Double stacker

Ahh that would explain why I had to do some very minor Stanley knife action to the front gusset on the peg of the washboard

Slight trim and it's locked in tight

Yup, auto perfection were selling 4 grit guard copies for £14 at waxstock so I couldn't say no, especially when I got the washboard to fit

Scratch shields went straight in the bin

Haha just seen your comment re the double stacker, yeah it's pretty massive isn't it! Can only do that with a 30l bucket!
