Depends what kind of food you like, is Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, steakhouse, Greek or anything else?

She likes Italian but we’ll both eat whatever as long as it’s good

Looked on trip advisor but can only find pub grub

People in Norwich have got their fingers in everything.

Which should mean you have a choice of 12 different eateries?

My neck of the woods here, if you like seafood then www.lochfyneseafoodandgrill.co.uk on st Giles street. Also on St Giles street I think it’s call paolos or pablos it’s a really good Italian.

If you like buffet food with plenty of multi national cuisines then Cosmos. ( recommend booking in advance)

If you want an afternoon tea then The Maidshead hotel is highly recommended, not eaten there in the evening so can’t comment on the meals.

For Steak and lobster ide recommend Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, ( may need to book a table)

If you want something 'fancy' check out benedicts restaurant, something a little bit more laid back but top food, the farmyard. Both in Norwich centre. What sort of thing you after kimo?

Quirky or generally good food

We both can cook well and have done so for work so eat at some real nice places as let’s face it, if you’re paying for it you want it to be better than you can cook yourself lol

Check out b'nou, tapas place, they keep bringing food and just count your plates at the end and charge you that way. For 'fancy' food definitely benedicts or Roger hickmans, At 3 rosette level

Norwich here, do you have a budget or style of food. Loads of non chain restaurants that are amazing

I've eaten at the giggling squid in Norwich and was very impressed.
The Whitehorse at brancaster staithe is worth a visit. You can eat from the bar menu or the main resturant which has a lovley view over the salt marshes.
The red lion at stiffkey is another worth mentioning and so is the anchor inn at morston.
