Smile My car of the day, new BMW i4 M50.

BMW's M division have kinda giving us a hint of what future M cars will be like. Coming to the UK in November and this M50 appears closer to an equivalent M330i so wherever or not it's a proper electric M car is up for debate. Still it's fast for a perceived M lite electric car with 537 BHP and 586 Lb of torque with 0-60 in 3.9 seconds which is impressive . The i4 M50 uses a 83.9 kWh battery with a claimed 367 mile range and can charge at a max rate of 200 kWh which means a ten minute stop can gain you 102 miles. Customers can get subscription free access to BP Pulse and Lonity plus for the first twelve months.BMW say that the new i4's center of gravity is much lower than a three series thanks to a slab of batteries in the floor while the brakes will give added stopping power and help regenerate energy at up to 195 kWh. Looking at the i4 M50 it simply looks like a four door 4 series and inside it also looks identical to a four series with one difference with the iDrive system which is either a 12.3 inch or 19.9 inch curved display.

Like it?

Don't like the front of all new BMW's at the moment. The "badge" is just too big, garish and in yer face.

But apart from that it looks like a good motor.
