Cleanse - non acid wheel cleaner

Have you heard about Cleanse - our Non-Acid Wheel Cleaner?

Cleanse is our most cost effective wheel cleaner.

Ideal as an everyday wheel cleaner, when more expensive products like Purge - our pH balanced iron fallout remover which has been designed to safely dissolve iron contaminants and brake dust from all surfaces - is overkill for weekly maintenance washing.

Cleanse is composed of a sophisticated blend of alkaline based cleaners and degreasers which make light work of most wheels, and has proven to be amazing for cleaning the grime such as old tyre dressings from tyres too.

Intended to be used as a spray-on, pressure wash off product, agitation isn't required most of the time.

For any stubborn brake dust deposits, we recommend Cleanse is sprayed to the wheels, allowed to dwell for a few minutes, and agitated with our favourite wheel brush - Wheel Woolies - although you can, of course, use your preferred ones.

We advise special care is taken on polished wheels or wheels with a delicate finish, and we do not recommend use on unprotected bare metal finish wheels, or those which have been freshly painted wheels.

If you have any concerns, it is always recommended that you try a small, inconspicuous area first, and as with all chemicals, the advice is to never let the product dry out.

Cleanse is sold in 5lt containers with a complimentary 750ml Anachem Automotive trigger sprayer and chemical resistant trigger spray head.

Directions for Use:

For the first application, we recommend Cleanse is used at full strength to remove all dirt and deposits from the wheels. Following that, it can be diluted up to 3:1 for daily maintenance washing

So if you haven't heard of it, now you have!

Why don't you give it a go - I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Ross

Looks impressive in that video Ross. If I didn’t already have 10 litres plus of wheel cleaner and various other tyre cleaners to use up, I’d be on that offer.

Hi Ross know I messaged you about this a while back but revisiting this after a friend has been raving about his results from Cleanse (he mentioned the dirt being pulled from tyres specifically).

I've used dedicated alkaline wheel cleaners in the past - current one is AG Alkalloy which is fine and dilutable but I find that even those that mention touchless cleaning don't remove much of that traffic film/ German brake dust layer without agitation even on coated wheels. To be fair I have resisted using it neat (instead using 10:1) as I've not wanted to degrade my wheel protection.

What is your advice regarding using this on coated alloys on a regular basis? Does it still have those 'touchless' capabilities when diluted?

You don't happen to sell a smaller size as this is one I wouldn't mind trying out but I generally never buy 5L of anything ... except Articulate of course

My alloys on my X5 have been coated with gTechniq from new.

I trial products thoroughly before releasing them to the market.

I currently am using it at 5:1 as my wheels are coated, and they are washed 2 / 3 times throughout the week. I am doing touches washes and getting perfect results.

The OZ wheels on my van would test the patience of a saint. I have been using it at 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 and most recently 5:1 with perfect results all the time.

These wheels have not been coated or protected with anything, and the van racks up a few hundred miles per week, but I do give it a touches wash 3 / 4 times per week and again works perfectly well.

All I recommend is that the first use is neat, and then, depending on how regular your wash routine is you can dilute it as you see fit.

I haven't noticed any degradation of the sealant, but to be honest, performance on wheels is subjective at best IMHO

I don't sell a smaller size, but the next time you're ordering and want to try some drop me a note and I'll fill a trigger sprayer neat for you to play with.
