Another leather question ,,,

Hi,

I've just taken delivery of a 2016 VW Golf R with 'leather interior'.
I'm looking for a good UV protector to help prevent the rear head rests and back from fading in the sun. Especially when the vehicle is parked out in work car park over the summer months.

I had a 2011 Honda Civic Type R with suede seats, and over the years the black colour of the rear head rests turned grey through sun fading

Also, if there is a cleaner/conditioner/uv all in one then even better!

tia

Try 303 Aerospace Protectant. It offers UV protection and doesn't leave any greasy residue.

For cleaning a mild APC, I use citrus pre-wash 10:1 on my leather seats but most mild APC's will be okay and to protect them I use carPRO PERL it offers good UV protection and can be diluted, very cost-effective.

In terms of conditioning, you'll have painted leather and that won't accept a conditioner it will sit on top of the paint not being absorbed and rub of on your clothes

What ratio of PERL do you mix?
Cheers

Which cleaner would you recommend before applying 303?
Thanks
