I agree, I'm patriotic and all things British, (although a Japanese inspired vehicle) but that Union Flag sticker, it doest work; it's best suited in centre of rear screen at the bottom, although it could be hinding a blemish of some kind.

As for the engine, it's a Rover T series engine, although it could be a K series, whichever, they were both made by Rover.

Just checked on Wikipedia, and AS_BO had already stated, it's a T series engine.

Very nice. Early one as well with the non body coloured handles. Must be pretty unique at that mileage. I had one for 5 years. Cracking car.

Thanks, everyone. This is an early 1995 model, ‘N’ reg. it’s the 2.0 t series turbo engine which is a Rover engine.

The stickers are staying on for now!

Thanks, everyone. I’m considering adding a few little touches of my own. I may swap the wheels for a set of 17” wheels off the 800 Vitesse, colour code the wing mirrors and fit an Accord interior map lights. I’m also trying to get hold of a set of OEM front fog lights, too.

There's a black one sitting just down the road from me. Hasn't turned a wheel in at least 6 years [probably more].

I don't know what the engine/spec is but it has seemed a shame to watch it gradually deteriorate. It looked really nice back when it was first left there. The owner doesn't seem to have any interest in doing anything with it - surprising when he deals in cars a bit......

Nice car and surely can't be a lower mileage 600 of any description out there - Nightfire Red was a lovely colour

Thats lovely mate.

My motoring journey started with a love for Rovers. Started with a Montego, got another, then had a 214 SEi on a M plate. Before moving onto other marques.

The 600 is a good car
