Be careful when storing it once the tin has been opened. I'm sure I read that it'll form a skin on the remainder which is hard to remove completely [or some reason like that ].

I store mine upside down, it's almost still full - I only tried it out on a tiny job, so long ago I've forgotten what it was....

Very nice motor you have there, and now the rot has been sorted out it should stay solid for a good long time

Thank you Jordan, indeed this is true. Hopefully I'll get around to doing some crossmembers etc like you have

Made a few little orders, first thing to arrive, the push fit plastic rivets for external plastic trim panels/arch liners etc.

To be fair bud your BMW is in far better condition than my old P38 my slab sided beauty has seen some action lol

You have a very nice motor there, i'd proud of your good self and the car some sterling effort gone in to it.

far too many are written off.

Well this evening I have now sprayed over the POR15 with Dynax UB. That is it all done! Fantastic.

No delivery of the little screws from BMW yet but this turned up today from Slims



Be interesting to see what the interior cleaner and protectant is like!
