Team Ice BassBora build (old and new)

Hey

well didn't notice this section before so i thought i would spam some pics of my audio car build

Car is a 2004 Bora TDI highline with a fair few mods done over the years but none more than audio

Headunit- pioneer AVH 3300BT
Alternator 210amp adjustable reg alternator (12.4V-18V)
Mid speakers 4 x Ground zero 8" mids (2 per front door)
tweeters 2 x Groundzero 0500 and 2 x groundzero 1800
mids amp groundzero GZUS 22500x 2x550Rms @2ohms
tweeter amp DLS a80 2x100rms @2ohms (modified by amp doctor)
Subs were 4 x Sundown SA12 D4 600rms each (3 are now sold 1 remaining)
Bass amps were 2 Sundown SAZ1500D V3 but later changed under sponsor to a Shok Industries 5 5450rms@1ohms and 6100rms@0.5ohms
batteries 1 bosch 77ah up front with 3 Banner running bull 92ah in the boot
there is over 25/30 meters of 1/0awg wire in the system so far with another 20M still to go in.
loads more wire of 4awg, 8awg and speaker wire i would hate to think how much haha

its now got 4mm deadening on the roof with 4mm on rear doors and shelf so far and 8mm on the front doors (1sqmeter of the deadening weighs 10.5KG!)

this car has taken part in 3 years of EMMA uk competitions in both ESPL woofer 4 class and Advance boot unlimited with 13/14 trophies (mixture of 1st 2nd and 3rd places) and has been invited to go international 2 times (but due to travel funds not been able to make it)

so end of last year seen the 4 sundown subs taken out and the 2 sundown amps. now to be running the Shok industries 5 at 0.5ohms so 6100rms @14.2V on a single 15" ground zero limited edition. No.35 of 333. plan are for a 4th order bandpass box but plans may change.

so enough of the babbling and on with what photos i do have

Here is a little video of it playing at a show end of 2013 at this point my 180amp alternator had packed up and i was playing on just battery power alone haha

When i get the chance i will get more pics and maybe some videos up

cheers
paul
