C5 alloys

Iíve just purchased 4x20Ē alloys for my VW Amarok & Iím taking the 22ís off it to have them powder coated black then put them on my RRS,,Iíve ordered 15ml of C5,will it be enough to do all 8 wheels.?I have half a 30ml bottle left but itís about 2 years old & been opened so donít want to risk. Using that bottle.

These are the 20ís for the Amarok
These are the 22ís that are going to be all black to go on the RRS

I'm afraid 15ml will be pushing it for full coverage of even 4 off 20" rims, let alone 8 off rims

You'll definitely need another 15ml and i think it would be better to get a 30 instead so you have a total of 45ml to go between all 8

Will it be ok to use the remainder of the 30ml I have left,,even if I just use that for the barrels & use the new bottle of 15ml for the faces

That would be my suggestion, provided the C5 isnít cloudy or got any white particles floating in it. Iíve used 50ml of Nanolex Si3D to coat a Mini Countryman with 18Ē wheels, two sets of 17Ē wheels inside and out and a set of Porsche 19Ē multispokes and still got some left over !

Using the correct foam application block with suede cloths wrapped over really does make it go a long way

Those will work but they are easy to drop and I find you use more products t with those as you use multiple pads.

I’ve applied C5 on the alloys at 4pm today,,I used what I had left over & to be honest I didn’t use that much to do all 4 wheels,,will it be cured by 9am in the morning so I can get the tyres fitted & put on vehicle,,they are in the garage at the minute.
