Recommend a leather repair specialist - South Coast UK
Hi all,
I have some bolster and base wear that's working its way through the leather pigment that I'd like to address. Can someone recommend a leather specialist around the South Coast of the UK or London area, really struggling to find any specialists from personal recommendations. Alternatively happy to attempt to fix it myself, but can't really find a piece of leather that I can send off for colour matching... Photo of the seat attached. ![]() |

Worth sending a message or contacting @Judyb from LTT Leathercare
https://www.lttleathercare.com/produ...er-recolour-2/ If you tell her the car model she may be able to advise you if she has the colour mix already. I've used their black auto leather recolour and its good. Another one is to give Jon @ Bespoke Leathering a call, or look at his website. https://bespokeleathering.com/dyes/ I had some of the Gliptone Scuffmaster Leather Touch up kit from him for Porsche Ocean Blue leather. It was absolutely spot on straight out the bottle, not too light, not too dark, not too matte, not too shiny. (and you get tints and gloss enhancers with it if you need to lighten or darken it anyway) Hope this helps. |

Thanks guys, will give the above recommendations a try.
I did try the original colour, which is the darker patch on the front of the seat. At first, I did think that the match was off, but when looking in places that have no reach of light, it became obvious that there's colour change from exposure to light. The kit with multiple options to tint sounds like a good solution to try. Will keep updated on how I get on, but for now if there are any further recommendations, please throw them my way. |
