New Car Detail - Artic White/Black Renault Captur GT Line

Today I managed to get done a 'new car detail' on the wife's new car
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=409639

The car is a PCH one. It was delivered on Friday 2nd November. We were told it would be a driven delivery and I was pleasantly surprised that it was a trailored delivery. The Captur had 4.9miles on the clock on delivery

Speaking to the delivery representative, the car came straight out of the Renault Uk compound, so none of the dreaded Dealer prep. It still had the plastic seat coverings and some plastic coverings on the interior panels. The mats were in a plastic bag in the boot along with a litre of top up oil & a nylon case with 2 reflective jackets, first aid kit & warning triangle in

Below is the process I went through –

ValetPro citrus pre-wash pre-wash
2 bucket wash with lambswool mitt & a strong mix G3 Detox shampoo
Wheel arches cleaned with APC
Paintwork decontaminated with AF ObliTARarte
Paintwork decontaminated with CP Iron-X
All the wheels decontaminated with ObliTARate and Iron-X
Bodywork and glass wiped down with CarPro Eraser
2 x coats Sonax Xtreme Protect + Shine Hybrid applied with a foam applicator
Exterior plastic trims & door & boot shuts treated with Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer
Under bonnet cleaned with APC
2 x coats of Planet Polish wheel seal and shine applied to the wheels
Tyres dressed with Megs endurance tyre gel
Interior surfaces cleaned with Sonax Matt Finish Cockpit Cleaner
Interior mats treated with Gtechniq I1v2
2 x coats of Angelwax H2GO rain repellent applied to windscreen & rear window & 1 coat to the remaining exterior glass

The paint is now so slick & the flake pop is very good (no pic's yet)

Sorry, no ‘in progress’ photo’s, just the ‘completed’ ones

Thanks for looking

Great work buddy.

The pics don't do the flake pop any justice, always nicer in the flesh.

Nice spec indeed, Renault kit them out well for not an awful lot of money compared to some more better known marques.
