Newbies & Introductions..... Tell us something about you.

Sponsored by Labocosmetica - The history of Labocosmetica has its roots in the distant half of the sixties. The founder, Gianfranco Mattioli, transfered the principles of human cosmetics into a totally new field: so was born the famous slogan "cosmetics for your car." What was called cosmetics at that time, is today called detailing

Hi there!

Hi, just thought I would say hello.
I have a Range Rover Sport, and while the paintwork is generally OK, I really want to get it properly clean, polish out some slight scratches, and put some protection on it.
I guess I will need;
-Wool mitt for washing (sponge to be binned)
-couple of buckets
-drying towel (AG synthetic shammy to be kept for wheels)
-clay bar (or mitt) with lubricant (rapid detailer?)
-DA poilisher and some pads
-medium? polish
-microfibre cloths
-sealant/wax of some description.
I have IronX for decontaminating the wheels and use AG rubber and vinyl spray for the plastic bits (very temporary solution for the grey scuttle).
I will have a good browse, and decide on which and where to get them. Should be fun
