I notice this time they kept Diane Abbott out of the tv, radio and press this time.

Still, good shoe choice

Some people also don't vote as the same MP always gets in. Well look at what happened to Jo Swinson?
Or indeed long term Bolsover MP Dennis Skinner, been the MP for Bolsover and a rabble rouser since Moses was a nipper, yet he got turned over.
Also, Bassetlaw which has been a Labour stronghold for longer than that, has become a Conservative seat.

I had a row with one of the lads at work today. He moaned the fact Boris won and he wanted Corbyn in however he didn't vote... so I had no choice but to have an argument about how he is wrong to voice his opinion and open his trap because he didn't vote!
Moaning about who won then saying you didn't vote shows lack of common sense so personally I don't think he should be allowed to vote anyway.
We're in Wales where they've just passed it to allow 16/17yr olds to vote. That worries me slightly!!

At least Swinson got outed. Can’t stand her. Utter muppet that looks like she could floss her front teeth with a bike chain.

Corbyn out soon.

Just need that Sturgeon to STFU and it’d be a full house. No point in listening to anything she says. You could have your TV on mute and you could guarantee she’d be saying ‘Waaaa, it’s not fair, I want a second referendum’. Boring, boring vile little rat.

Both are abhorent.

IMO Labour needs to get back to the middle ground or they could never win again. I don’t think it’s healthy to have one party that constantly governs.

Did anyone see Boris winning his seat?

I'd have voted for Lord Buckethead, Count Binface or Elmo ahead of him.

It was actually rather comical the people standing against him.

Funnily enough, I was discussing that only a few minutes ago.

Where do you stand on Sturgeon and independence Kerr?

It's can be good comedy in a seat held by a major politician, people can spend £500 and stand on the stage at the count (and be on TV).

We had only had a boring red, blue or yellow

I live in the Gordon Constituency. We've just gone from Tory to SNP.

I tactically voted SNP as I want to avoid Brexit. Obviously the hope was the result wouldn't be such a walk over.

I can't take to Nicola. It's got to the stage she just annoys me. She just relentlessly goes on about independence and needs to start doing more.

I'm the person she targets. I've not had the same tax increases like I would in England. They've also increased my income tax level on top of that too.

I voted independence last time. I wouldn't next time.

To be honest I'm totally and utterly fed up of politics in the last few years. It's angry, it's relentless, and quite frankly feels like a waste of time.

I hope everyone knuckles down and sees some progress now. I'm sure in 5 years time the progress will be diddly-squat. I think the poorer people that voted Tory this time are in for a shock.
