Gtechniq Gtechniq was founded by quantum physicist Drew Gill in 2001, out of a total dissatisfaction with the performance of paint protection products at the time. Everything from waxes, to new-fangled polymers and PTFE based miracle treatments, nothing on the market offered any meaningful durability, either in looks, or protection. Worse still, he found that most of the products actually performed poorer than the paints they were supposed to protect. From this discontent came a simple idea, ‘To engineer the world’s most beautiful, perfectly finished, smartest and most intelligent surfaces. Surfaces that do much more than simply look great when new.’ |

Ross, thank you very much for the thread. Really helpful! I got one question and one addition:
The question: Regarding the neat c2v3 application, I've read 1-2 sprays per panel (door, half bonnet etc) and then you mention 30ml for large cars (so less for my mk7 fiesta). I have the 100ml spray bottle, and I doubt that 1-2 sprays per panel will reach that much volume. Do the 1-2 sprays refer to the larger sprayer bottles? The addition: Regarding T1 application, I use 2-3 drops per tyre (195-50-15). I touch the applicator lightly around the surface of the tyre and then work it with the applicator to go into every spot. First application of T1 was 4 weeks ago, applying 2 layers as I described. This gives me a satin look (without buffing), and up to now the tyre is still darker than with 303. Ok, 303 did not claim long durability. water beads a litte too. EDIT: Answered my question in another thread and by practice. 2-3 sprays of the 100ml bottle per panel of a door size. Not diluted, used less than 20ml for the entire car (excluding bonnet + roof which I'll be hand polishing with p1 first ![]() Last edited by zahtar; 25-06-2014 at 12:36 AM. |
