I’d agree on the harmonic damper as I did mine as well. Just takes the edge off the noise and vibration a bit. Not night and day but noticeable.

Can’t help you mate sorry. If you look at the rear frame and look for the two pre drilled holes it may fit.

So spoke to the master tech and parts guy regarding the heater support pump. Turns out my car does not have one. It is only specific to the TDi apparently. So he suggested plugging it up for a diagnostic at £114 + VAT. Eh.......

So my question is does anyone know anyone or a garage with VCDS that can plug me in and pinpoint exactly this code? It runs fine and no lights on the dash so might be a ghost code.

Forgot to add in Edinburgh / fife

This may be of use. Are you a member of the Mk7 owners group on Facebook? I was in the mk6 and 7 when I was on Facebook and there's a wealth of knowledge on them.

Contacted a local member mate and he is coming through with the kit next week to run it through VCDS. Thanks so much for that link.

So bumper off! Easy as. Going to strip, clean and polish it. Looking at fitting PPF while it’s off also.

Got Andrew to come over and scan the car using VCDS. Showing the same fault code as OBD11. Cleared it and it came back straight away. He ran a isolated test and the pump runs fine and showing OK Operational. Checked both water pump / thermostat housing and auxiliary pump. No weeping or leeks found. Next step fuses but need to find a diagram. The pump runs perfectly as you can feel it running when you switch it off with the car being up to temp. It may very well be a gremlin code.

That’s it for now.
