Best Products from Halfords

As a hobbyist, I often get in a situation where I need a product and have run out while I'm cleaning a car. So the only option is the visit Halfords. So with that in mind, what would you say are decent detailing products you can find there ?
So say I ran out of a tyre dressing, whats the best one from Halfords etc....

As above, tyre dressing from Halfords, Megs endurance. Currently on offer. Only use a small amount and work it round, gives a nice finish and lasts reasonable well

Other products from Halfords - obviously anything Autoglym or Meguiars you fancy, but I also bought some G3 supergloss wax from them, fantastic wax, easy to apply / remove and gives excellent results

Keep it going folks, lets end up with one best product for each category ? what's the best wheel cleaner ? Thats what I need right now, they are not ceramic coated, but they did have raceglaze wheel sealant on it, which is probably worn out now.

Slightly off topic, sorry, but Halfords related: A heads-up for any ex-servicemen. You can join the Defence Discount Service, and for a fiver, which covers 5 years, a whole load of High Street discounts are available, including a flat 10% at Halfords.

Back on topic, another +1 for Megs Endurance.

Ive never had an Autoglym product that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Don’t think you can go wrong with any Meguiars products either. My local Halfords stocks a fair bit from the Auto Finesse range too, although I find their products a lot cheaper on ECP/CP4L.

I found Autoglym's Clean Wheels to be absolutely useless, but even that was better than AutoFinesse's Imperial - which was less effective than Megs Gold Class at shifting dirt. I'd definitely avoid those two, and I would also avoid Autoglym's Bumper and Trim gel; coverage is poor, you have to use a lot of product, the finish isn't very uniform and its just generally a bit of a pain. Their Insect Remover was also significantly less effective than diluted APC at shifting bugs, so would again avoid that. Tyre dressing was too thin and I found it lasted about 2 days before wearing entirely.

I tend to stick to Megs when I'm out of something I need urgently. That being said, Autoglym EGP and SRP are obviously fantastic products, and I also rather like their Vinyl and Rubber Care.

Wheel cleaner wise I'd say it would have to be Megs Ultimate Wheel Cleaner. It's basically 9/10ths of what Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel is (but for 50% more money).

I like the Autoglym UHD Wax and UHD Shampoo. +1 for the Endurance also.

They also do a useful 3 for 2 deal from time to time, I feel a bit of a twit walking out with 3 litre pots of SRP but I know they will be put to good use.

To carry on the Cookeh post, Autoglyms convertible protector is expensive and not as effective or long lasting as Fabsil.
