Company car refresh

Hadn’t done the wife’s company focus for several months and was starting to look abit ropey. Give it a coat of ultimate wax before the winter so was still beading to be fair

Pics after a citrus pre-rinse out the pump spray

Can see where I’d just given the number plate at wipe at some point to keep the old bill happy!

Left to soak and then got the car chem snow foam out. First time this year. Always find it a hassle, all show and not much go.

Gave it a proper slow pressure wash and was pleasantly surprised at how much came off and how well it looked. Could have got away with as it was but thought a quick 2BM wldnt take long.

After that I let it dry abit and used some ipa as a dying aid and dig out auto finesse spray on tough seal. This stuff is really good and easy to use, will have to get some more!

Then some quick angel eyes for the glass

And all finished! Will be grafted after a few days but happy to see it looking well for a few hours.

Was only a standard job on the alloys. So hard to clean and didn’t bother with any tyre gel. Bit weak really :-(

That has come out well.

I’d always be in two minds as to whether to bother, but my inner detailer would not let me take it to a car wash.

Nice job .....never considered IPA as a drying agent...what dilution / benefits over the likes of Megs Last Touch?
