Update, after trying over an hour this morning, my mother finally managed to speak to the sales guy at the forecourt she got the car from. At first she said he was quite persistent in saying there’s was nothing wrong, but then admitted to noticing the knocking on full lock and that’s why they had the tracking done 2 days before we collected the car! Then she emailed him the the photos of the report sheet, he straight away offered to cover the cost of the tracking (also the 2 years cover my mum paid so that she can enter any Kwik fit at any time to get it checked and adjusted if required and tyre insurance). She told them that as she was aware the tyres needed replacing shortly albeit she didn’t think she only had 200 miles worth left on them! So she wasn’t asking for anything towards them, but as they told her the car drove 100% and that it was all sorted, she felt there was dishonesty if not from them but from the garage they used, and they agreed and told her the cheque would be in post today.

hope it doesn't spoil the car for her anyway,

Porsche main dealers used to do free health checks even if you didn't buy from them, not sure if they still do as I use independants for my cars but could be worth a go, may give a some of confidence that all is ok,

Cheque arrived today so she is happy, the garage said it went in to Porsche Solihull for its check and an ecu update in the week prior to collecting, so mums calling them tomorrow to hopefully get any information they have on the car.
