Mirror Finish : Freelander 2 with Reflection Perfection Samples

This Land Rover was booked in for one of my special £199.00 all surface protection details, no surface left untreated.

It was 5 months old with 7k on the clock. Upon initial inspection there were absoutly no swirl marks on it, but bearing in mind it had never been washed once this I could understand.

Stephen at Reflection Perfection had sent me a few goodies a few days before the detail so I thought I would put them to use.

A Mini Review for Reflection Perfection.

Shampoo-nice easy product to use, plenty of lube so could be used for claying, smelled ok as well. Would buy this and use it.

Tyre Dressing-liquid product so really easy to put on. I used a paint brush and I must admit it left a great finish. One of the easiest tyre dressing products I have ever used and gives a excellent satin finish. Bonus dries fast with no sling. Smells horrid but once I have used up other products I will be using this as my default tyre dressing.

Glass Cleaner- I always try these on the bathroom mirror as having a 15 year old daughter there is all sorts of woman product all over the place. My usual default glass cleaner is AG Fast Glass. This outperformed the AG product on the mirror test. On the car it did exactly what it was supposed to do and cleaned the glass really well. Again another product that would be good to have.

The car was dropped off at Hughes Towers for a few hours of TLC.

First up was a full foaming followed by a power wash down then foam added again whilst I made up my buckets.

Snow Foam Doing It's Job

Various Brushes Used

Leaving This

Car was clayed with Last Touch as lube, clay was suprisingly clean for a car that had never been washed in it's life.

LSP was Opti Seal as the car will be used daily, plus will live outside. Durability was the objective not necessarally looks. Opti Seal offers all the benefits she was after plus as it is a sealant it allowed the metallic flake to pop, unlike a wax which softens it. Also, is a lot more durable than a wax.

Some Finished Shots.

And My Little Detailer in Training!!!!!

As ever customer was blown away by the transformation, just vaced out the inside and put some food on the leather, did not have time for pics.

Thanks to Stephen at Reflection Perfection for the samples and to Debbie for the business and pork pie!!!!!

Car is having a full tint job next week so should look cool after that.

Thanks for looking.

Any comments good or bad always welcome.

Cheers

Steve
