Perfection Detailing: RS Focus

This RS Focus came in for its annual protection detail; some of you most probably have seen me post this car before. But as the owner is a member on here and this has to be one of the cleanest in the country (which is a real credit to the owner) I thought it was worth sharing again

Here was the RS Focus on arrival as usual it was very clean; if only all our customers cars turned up looking this clean.

Starting off with the wheels these had previously been protected with Gtech C5, so needed nothing more than AS smartwheels 3:1 to take care of the brake dust present.

A few more random shots of the wash process.

All done.

Moved inside for claying.

Moved back outside pressure washed off, then back inside and dried off.

The new Tornador Vortex was used to blow any water trapped in any gaps out, another use I have found for it

RS Focus winter wheels were next up.

Envy Iron Awe doing its thing.

AS Tardis was used to remove any tar spots present and then clayed with Megs mild clay bar.

Wheels were dried off and prepped with Gtech PW, and then Gtech C5 was applied and tyres dressed with T1.

All sorted

Back to the RS.

Paintwork was wiped down with PW.

Product chose from the customer was the Werkstat system.

Glass cleaned with G6.

Black bits were treated with C1; these were also treated last time we had the RS in for a detail and it has been doing a great job at keeping any wash marring marks at bay. On its next visit though these soft surfaces will be corrected again to freshen them up, before applying C1 once more.

Tyres dressed with T1.

A few afters.

Doesn't that defeat the point of them going to you

Nice looking car with nice wheels (though the wheel colour doesn't work)

Nice job.

Chris.
