Detailing caddy and detailing step

Hi Everyone,

After a nice detailing caddy / seat for use when polishing

I seem to remember a cost co one being recommended? Also after cleaning a Mercedes GLC at the weekend I need a sturdy step for cleaning and drying the roof. I am 6FT 2 and 18 stone so need something capable of holding my weight!

Hi,Can,t recommend a seat but could recommend a stool for standing to clean roof.I use a caravan step to clean my roof.Chea**** and made of plastic/aluminium.Hope this helps Cheers Andy.

I just use a step up/hop up platform - around £30 from screwfix and capable of holding up to 150kg/23 stone

This ^^^ I bought the 600mm platform for 24.99 for the roof of my Jeep. Doubles up for other non car work as well definitely one of my better buys

I also use it as a seat as it's a decent height as well.

Thanks for the heads up will go to screwfix and have a look. I have searched Costco but cannot find the trolley.

I've got one of the ebay ones, cost about £15 iirc. Great as a sitting stool and whizzing about when polishing with a handy space underneath. The wheels don't lock though so I wouldn't stand on it (my drive slopes slightly, so even worse).

I've got the Costco one, it's pretty good and a bit cheaper in store if you're a member.

The bucket is decent and has a grit guard, the only problem is it's not light enough to see the water colour.
