Vick’s Milano FN2 Civic Type R

Good evening folks

So before I brought my M3 5 and half years ago
the plan was to upgrade to the Type R but I always had the E46 M3 on my list and after finishing my apprenticeship I pulled the trigger sold the Civic then bought a little corsa for daily use while I looked for the right M3 for me.

Now fast forward a few years, and 75k miles later in the corsa (175k total) it was time to get something a little nicer as my daily. I’ve still got the M3 and don’t see myself selling it.

I wanted something a bit fun, practical, looks good, must have air con! (Corsa didn’t have this luxury) also fairly reasonable to maintain.... As an M3 owner I can’t believe how cheap these are to maintain! M3 parts are still quite expensive even with a trade discount)

So I picked this up last Sunday -

07 plate GT spec full well documented service history with nav, GP splitter pack, auto dim rear view mirror, reverse sensors.

Overall the car is in good condition, it does have a few little chips here and there which I’ll be touching up but that is to be expected with a 11 year old car and soft thin Honda paint. Currently holding out for waxstock so I can load up on some new detailing supplies and give the car a full decon and machine polish.

very very smart, nice to see these looked after, so many e46's and type r's i see that look fit for the crusher due to the price brackets they've fallen into

is the e46 steel grey?

I had it in my head I wanted red but it was very difficult to find one that didn’t have too many previous owners.. most seem to have 5 plus! Also with the spec I wanted and full service history etc.
My corsa was a 1.3 diesel but I had it mapped so the torque was very good low down and I thought coming to this it would be a bit more hard work to get it going but there’s plenty there while tootling around .... I sure know about the paint ... fun times ahead!
