Ferrari specialist GTO have recreated one of Maranello's finest in this 250 GT California. It's essentially a remastered version of one of the brands most revered models of which just 56 samples will be built. End every California is hand built from a Donor car, using parts produced by GTO engineering and despite the focus on authenticity, the GT California will be highly customisable. Customers can choose between three versions of Ferrari's Columbo V12, from the standard 3.0 litre engine to an upgraded 3.5 litre or even a 4.0 litre units and the original four-speed gearbox can be swapped for a five speed. Bespoke interior exterior colours can be chosen and the interior is trimmed in leather. Depending on which spec customers go for, and the cost of a donor car, pricing ranges from between £750,000 and £850,000 and are built to the specification.

That's delightful. And with a V12.

A Ferrari with a V12, what's not to like?

Yes, an original 275GTB would be wonderful but I'm not sure you'll get one for under a million  The only one I can find a price for is over £2M. The rest are POA.

Andy.
Yep, think the cheapest one i've seen go at auction went for £1.6 million but i just prefer the shape to a convertible.
Don't get me wrong, this is nice but i'm not a convertible man and besides, these start at £750 - 850,000, i bet by the time you've specced it up a bit, it will be over the million mark.

It is nice though, just not my taste

Beautiful car, the original ones I mean. This looks a fairly decent replica, and will command high figures too. I remember detailing an original one of these which my ex boss bought from America. He also bought a 250 SWB too, which was owned by Nicholas Cage. I love old Ferraris, they fantastic to work on and easy to strip down to detail.

Yes, please send one, if I had that kind of money spare, I wouldn’t think twice.

Someone showed me the other week a Jaguar E-type “newly produced “ with a modern engine, modern brakes with all the gadgets and it looked the real thing, but it was very usable.

While we “all” would prefer the original, but with so little availability, no chance this is pure Craftmanship what is not to like.

That’s probably why I admire the Morgan cars, handbuild by real Craftsmen.
And buy handmade shoes just to keep the trade alive.
If you ever seen a craftsman make a wing out of a sheet of metal, or create an engine part out of a billet you are always in awe for the rest of my life.

I am not a lover of (Italian) sportcars but this is a beauty.

But men can dream, no budget to even buy a wheelnuts on this car :wall:
