All manufacturers are downsizing engines massively - 2.0 X5's, 2.1 litre Mercedes S Class, 1.0 Mondeos etc - thank emissions legislation for it and no real evidence that longevity is being sacrificed - yet

What the heck is that ? it looks like a Kia Shuma .... and the seat to steering wheel positioning .... you need to have a Z shaped spine.

I'd rather nail my nuts to a park bench than own one of them

I reckon that will sell in big numbers.

Mr & Mrs Public will love it.

Not too much money, decent size, "cheap" to run and Skoda have turned out some solid, reliable and well thought out cars in the last decade or so. Often the "best" of the VAG group.

Boring? Certainly.

But to get from A to B with no grief on the way - I'd have one.

Time will tell.
