Difference between "tyre dressings", "rubber care" and "plastic and rubber care"?

Hi all,

Im very confused about these products. Can anyone write it simply what is the difference? Its ok that tyre dressings are for tyres, rubber cares are for rubber parts, but..the most of tyre dressings is suggested by the manufacturers also for any other rubber parts. Rubber care products suggested also for tyres. And plastic care products also suitables for rubber and tyres (by the products description). So, what is the difference? What is the best for example rubber weather seals, and what for tyres? Or plastic and rubber care products, such as Carpro Perl is suitable for every ot them?

Other question is silicone contained tyre/rubber dressings are always can damage the rubber/tyre, or only some of them, which contains that solvent like petroleum?

There is a section for this where you may be able to read threads covering this. Surprised this was not moved.
Pick a few example Carpro Pearl, Koch Kemie Plas Star and Gtechniq C4 and read up. Every one is very well spoken of. there are others too to check. Most sites from the manufacturer have there 'Product information and MSDS sheets. Once you have some incite, then ask.
If you do not you will only receive "I use"......
Hope that helps.:thumb:
