New car windscreen scratches.

I’m taking my 1 day old car back to the dealers tomorrow. Noticed when driving to work in the new car for the first time 2 scratches that don’t pass the fingernail test. They are in the lower corner of the drivers side. The dealer wants to check them over before doing anything.

Looking at the pics do you think the whole screen needs replacing or can they be improved by polishing?

Unfortunately it is a new screen mate. If you can, I would push for original glass with a car make logo, they will probably not want to replace it with original OEM as they will have to order it in. But hey its a brand new car, it should be just right.

With polishing glass, a scratch that deep would take forever x2 to improve it a little and forever x100 to remove it. Definitely need a glass professional if you want it done without distorting the glass.

Garage
Book the car in under warranty, that's what I would do.
